Our parent organisation, Golden Star Office Cleaning, has operated across Melbourne for over a decade. We maintain active outbreak response protocols aligned with AHPPC guidelines for gastroenteritis, hand, foot and mouth disease, and other infections common in early childhood settings. When your centre experiences an illness outbreak, we can mobilise an enhanced deep-clean response with appropriate TGA-listed disinfectants and documented decontamination procedures, within the same business day in most Melbourne metro areas.
Consistent Teams — No Contractors
We assign consistent cleaning teams to each childcare facility. Your centre director will know who is entering your building. We do not use subcontractors or casual labour pools for childcare work. Staff assigned to your centre are directly employed by Golden Star Childcare Cleaning, fully vetted, trained in your facility's specific layout and requirements, and subject to our direct management.

Tailored Cleaning Programme
We develop a written cleaning programme specific to your facility, covering daily cleaning tasks, periodic deep-clean schedules, outbreak response procedures, and product specifications. This document is yours to keep and submit as compliance evidence.
Consistent Team Assignment

Non-Toxic, Child-Safe Cleaning Products
Product selection is one of the most important decisions a childcare cleaning company makes. Children aged 0–12 spend extended periods in close contact with cleaned surfaces — touching, mouthing, and breathing in the environments we clean. We do not use any product that has not been assessed against NHMRC Childcare Cleaning Guidelines and AHPPC standards for use in early childhood settings.
All products used in Golden Star Childcare Cleaning operations are TGA-listed for disinfection, GECA certified for environmental impact, VOC-free, and plant-based where available. We never use bleach, ammonia, chlorine-based aerosols, or petrochemical solvents in any area of a childcare or daycare facility. This applies to all surface types including play equipment, cots, change tables, kitchen benches, and outdoor areas.
Product specifications are documented in your centre's written cleaning programme and referenced in every post-visit cleaning log. If your centre's insurers or ACECQA assessors require product safety data sheets, we provide these on request.
